In honor of Daniel Gerber, Sr., this scholarship was created for students graduating from one of the five school districts in Newaygo County, Michigan.
This competitive scholarship program was established to recognize and honor academic excellence among graduating seniors. Students must have a GPA of 3.71 or higher to apply (higher of weighted or unweighted). The scholarship provides $8,000, in aggregate, to be applied to tuition, fees, and books over the course of the student's undergraduate studies.
The deadline for application is February 28 of each year. If this falls on a weekend, the deadline is the following business day.
