Deadlines for all scholarship applications are February 28 of each year. Should this date fall on a weekend, the deadline is the next business day.

Announcements of selections are generally made at each high school's awards ceremony. At that time, selected students will receive further information regarding the scholarship.

Daniel Gerber Sr. Medallion scholarship recipients will receive annual payments in August. For renewal, the student must submit a grade report from the most recently completed academic year and renewal form by July 1 of each year. The renewal form is used to verify current address and current institution of attendance.

Gerber Foundation Merit scholarship recipients will receive one payment in August for the Fall semester and another in December for the Winter/Spring semester. A grade report from the Fall semester is required prior to receiving the second payment.
